Coiled Tubing: An Introduction

In the oil and gas industries, the term ‘coiled tubing’ refers to the continuous lengths of steel pipe, stored on large reels, and most commonly used for carrying out intervention operations in existing wells. This Coiled Tubing Introduction is designed to provide learners with a starting point from which to develop their understanding of the techniques and technologies involved when utilizing coiled tubing in downhole interventions.
