Managed Pressure Drilling - Basic Level
The purpose of this course is to provide understanding of the MPD fundamentals, passing through the MPD origin, differences between MPD and Well Control, presentation of basic MPD equipment and procedures and finishing with health, safety, environment and regulation standards related to Managed Pressure Drilling The target students are all personnel directly and indirectly involved in MPD operations.
Upon completion of a MPD training course based on these curriculum guidelines, the student should have a basic knowledge of MPD operations.
